Boat Trip to Vinga Island
Take a day trip to the legendary island of Vinga aboard the boat Kungsö. A perfect excursion for the whole family – explore the historic lighthouse, enjoy a swim, and have a picnic surrounded by the open sea.
Boat Trip to Gothenburg
During the summer season (June 21 – August 11), you can also travel directly from Klåva Harbour to central Gothenburg aboard Kungsö. The scenic journey takes just over an hour.
Fishing & Maritime Heritage
Visit the Fishing Museum in Klåva Harbour – a must for anyone interested in the sea and Hönö's rich fishing history.
Kayaking & Hiking

Hike through Ersdalen Nature Reserve – rugged, beautiful, and peaceful, with spectacular views of the sea.
Or pick up some fresh shrimp, bread, and aioli, and enjoy the sunset from the cliffs at Hjälvik.

Nimbus Sauna (Öckerö)
Located at the end of the pier with stunning ocean views. Approximately SEK 350 for 2 hours.

Beautiful natural surroundings and longer sessions. Approximately SEK 700 for 4 hours.

Fotö - Connected by bridge and perfect for a bike ride. Don't miss an ice cream in the harbour.
Rörö - Take the ferry from Burö and explore the beautiful nature reserve. Enjoy fish & chips at Röröboa.
Grötö - A charming island for swimming, with Restaurant Gläntan by the water.
Björkö - Reachable by ferry from Hönö. Enjoy lunch or dinner at Seaside.
Knippla - Visit Majtes for lunch or dinner.
